So, despite Eleanor going through the most horrific chemo she has faced so far, she has finished 3 weeks of rehearsals and made her debut in the West End at the crucible of London Theatres, The Old Vic.
She is having the absolute time of her life and I have to admit that despite all the intense juggling of work, school, hospital appointments and life in general Tim and I are loving every minute too! We have met some absolutely amazing people and I am certain this is not something we will be forgetting in a hurry. I am already dreading it all being over, I honestly can’t remember the last time I smiled this much.
We are always proud of Eleanor, she goes through so much and still smiles that amazing smile but, WOW, seeing your little girl up on a stage with over a thousand people cheering for her is like nothing else!
Despite her struggles, despite her very low vision she owned that stage and broke the hearts of everyone watching.
I tell her this so often, so often she must be sick of hearing me say it, but my goodness, I am immensely proud of her!
